What we collect
Account details (name, email), the documents and templates you create, signer information you enter, and technical data (IP address, user agent, timestamps) captured for the audit trail. Signers provide their signature and consent when they sign.
How we use it
To provide the service: draft, render, deliver, sign, seal, and store your documents; process your subscription; collect deposits into your connected account; and produce analytics for you about your own documents.
Subprocessors
We rely on a small set of processors: Stripe (payments + subscription billing), Anthropic (AI drafting and summaries), Resend (transactional email), and Cloudflare R2 (encrypted document storage). Compute and databases run on our own servers.
AI
AI features send document content to our AI provider to draft or summarize text. Generated content is a starting point, not legal advice. Arithmetic in pricing tables is always computed by FolioSign, never by the model.
Retention & deletion
Completed, sealed documents are retained so the record stays verifiable. You can export your documents at any time, and request deletion of your workspace; some records may be retained where required for legal or audit purposes.
Security
Signing links are single-use and stored only as hashes. Sealed PDFs are tamper-evident. Access to your workspace is scoped to your organization. We use short-lived, signed URLs for file access.

Depending on your location you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. Contact us to exercise them.
